The Youth phase builds on the technical foundation established in our Academy Program, transitioning players into a more game-realistic, tactical learning environment.
At this stage, players develop advanced competency in core techniques while being introduced to the club’s game model principles, including building from the back, combination play, creating advantages, and understanding all phases of play.
Training emphasizes decision-making, movement off the ball, and recognizing moments within the game, helping players become more complete and intelligent players.

We provide a professional, structured training environment led by licensed staff and guided by a proven curriculum rooted in:
-
Positional play and combination play
-
Using space and creating numerical advantages
-
Collective defending and compact team organization
-
Transition moments and game awareness
All Indy Eleven North travel teams are coached by licensed, paid staff. Our travel teams train 3x per week during the fall and spring, and 1-2x per week for 15 weeks over the winter. Supplemental Training opportunities are available throughout the year.

Teams are formed through a comprehensive evaluation process, with players grouped according to their level of ability to ensure they are placed in appropriately challenging and development-focused environments. Teams are then placed in leagues that best match their competitive level, allowing players to consistently apply the club’s game model in meaningful competition. This structure is designed to maximize player development by supporting growth within a clear, consistent, and challenging style of play.
